FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Educational Sustainability Mobilization Inc. (dba EssentialNow) Announces FY 2026 Application for Maryland CHW Training Program Accreditation to Strengthen Workforce Capacity and Expand Community Health Impact

Silver Spring, MD — December 11, 2025 — Educational Sustainability Mobilization Inc., operating as EssentialNow, is pleased to announce its intent to apply for Maryland Community Health Worker (CHW) Training Program Accreditation for Fiscal Year 2026. This initiative is a core component of EssentialNow’s long-term strategy to expand high-impact workforce training, advance health equity, and strengthen the capacity of Maryland’s community-serving organizations.

The FY 2026 accreditation effort positions EssentialNow to deliver a state-recognized CHW training curriculum that meets Maryland Department of Health (MDH) standards and directly supports statewide goals related to preventive care, chronic disease management, behavioral health, care coordination, and culturally responsive community outreach.

“EssentialNow is committed to meeting Maryland’s growing demand for a skilled and community-rooted health workforce,” said Eneshal Miller-Galloway, Founder and Executive Director. “This accreditation process allows us to scale our impact, deepen partnerships, and equip Community Health Workers with the competencies needed to address complex health and social needs across diverse communities.”

Through this accreditation, EssentialNow will offer partners and stakeholders:

A reliable pipeline of trained, MDH-aligned Community Health Workers ready to integrate into health systems, nonprofits, community-based organizations, and public health programs.

Evidence-based, competency-aligned training grounded in best practices for adult learning, trauma-informed care, and health equity.

Opportunities for collaboration in workforce development, practicum placements, community engagement initiatives, and grant-funded projects.

A scalable, outcomes-focused training infrastructure designed to support regional and statewide public health priorities.

EssentialNow’s accreditation process will include stakeholder engagement, curriculum alignment, evaluation planning, and sustainability strategy development—elements that strengthen organizational readiness for partnership and investment.
